MS520 är en slim-line-enhet med tre olika musikprogram och en för paging. De kan sändas i fem monozoner, eller alternativt i fyra zoner där en är i stereo. Ett auxiliary-input är tillgängligt för varje av de fem zonerna, för att koppla t.ex. CD-spelare och mixrar. De bakgrundsbelysta funktionsknapparna och displayen ger tillgång till alla menyer för konfiguration och justering av systemet: Volume, Tone, Loudness, Output-settings, VOX.
